Our programs are successful only with the help of dedicated members, supporters, and volunteers helping us carry out our mission.


Advocacy

The Arc of Rappahannock, along with its members and supporters lobby key agencies for services and support for its consumers and families. The Arc supports consumers and families in obtaining services from state and local agencies.

Information and Referral

The Arc-R provides information regarding available programs and services for individuals with IDD and their families.

Dental Clinic

Dental Clinic Provides cleaning, exams, screenings, and treatment for adult consumers.

Service Facilitation

Available for individuals with Medicaid waivers offering respite companion and assistant personal care services.

Santa's Helpers

The Arc of Rappahannock's Christmas giving program.

Best Buddies

Pairs individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ages 18 & up) with students from University of Mary Washington for fun and friendship.

DayBreak

Saturday afternoon program offers respite care for caregivers of children (age 18 & under), providing fun and education.

Other Programs and Services

Throughout the year The Arc offers various activities and services including dances and family outings.
